I've always liked seeing who the people I read are reading, but just seeing a name isn't enough for me. I want to see just a little bit of what they're saying so I don't click to find that the author is talking about, say, yachting or maybe the under-appreciated art of scrapbooking.

The iRead pod for BlogCFC offers the ability to display not only a link to other authors read by
the blog owner, but also a selection of articles or posts by that author.

Two versions of this pod are included in the archive: an inline version for traditional deployment
and an AJaX version using Google's Feed API.

Key Features:
. User can specify a number of feed items that will be displayed for each feed individually
. Valid, standards-compliant XHTML/CSS output

Inline Version
. User can override the feed title, if desired
. Last-Modified and ETag response headers are respected so content is only retrieved if it hasn't
been modified since the last request.

AJaX Version
. Fast. Very, very fast.
. Supports all commonly used feed formats (http://code.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=65406&topic=11330)
